Simple Green Smoothie for Acne

I'm a creature of habit, I like routine or I get easily overwhelmed and can fall into bad habits. And by routine, I don't mean I follow a strict to the minute schedule each day, but that I have a few set habits that allow me move thru certain daily tasks with ease and little to no decision making. Like washing my face. And breakfast.

I wish I was one of those people who cooks elaborate instagram-worthy breakfasts, but I'm not. Just the thought of it makes me itch.

I enjoy my simple smoothie breakfast, which has been my routine for over two years now. It's so easy to make, tastes great and most importantly has been an essential step in my keeping my skin clear.

// INGREDIENTS

1 large Apple (I prefer Fuji apples)
1 large Banana (I like them slightly brown)
1 teaspoon Chlorophyll (great for hormonal balance, deodorizing and detoxing)
1 scoop Collagen (great for reducing fine lines & wrinkles, overall skin & hair health, hormonal balance)
1 scoop Flaxseed Meal (optional, you know for a little help in the bathroom aka detoxing)

// SUPER SIMPLE 2-STEP RECIPE
  1. Juice 1 large apple
  2. Blend together freshly juiced apple + banana + chlorophyll + collagen + option flaxseed meal
BAM. You're done.

I like to eat mine with 2 boiled eggs (if I have them), and it's usually enough to satisfy me until lunch. I also always take my AM dose of my skin supplement with my smoothie, because routine. I never forget.

And then the next morning, I do it all over again.
